WHY BOATS?
I thought you might ask that. Its a fair question and i get it alot. The straight forward answer is i grew up with boats and when i paint them, it brings back fond memories of summertime on a small lake in Michigan.

BUT WHY BOATS?
If you wanna dive deeper, i paint boats so i can better understand how water and its reflections distort light. I use simple old boats as models to study this effect in its most minimalistic form
